Schakel at Bergen University to conduct an STSM titled Why new party parliamentary entry at one level fosters the party breakthrough at the other levels in multilevel system

Prof. Xhindi’s STSM lasted a total of 60 calendar days and was carried out at the faculty of Law of the EOTVOS LORAND University in Budapest. Prof. Klos STSM – Migration disputes – new challenges for local communities (use of ADR) was conducted at ELTE, Faculty of law. Prof. Klos STSM has contributed to the dissemination of the use of ADR as a reaction to migration disputes and the promotion of institutional and legal solutions for ADR in the context of increasing migration movements and the risk of conflicts and disputes on the migration background. Dr. Simona Kukovič from the School of Advanced Social Studies in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, has spent two months, from the 30th of August 2022 until the 12th of October 2022, on a short-term scientific mission at Montana State University Billings in the USA to research conspiracy theories and intergovernmental coordination. Dr. Peter Csanyi

Dr. Peter Csanyi from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia, has spent two weeks, from the 20th of September 2022 until the 5th of October 2022 on a short-term scientific mission at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, researching political actors in Slovakia and Slovenia and their role in policy-making. Dr. Maria Diacon

Dr. Maria Diacon from the Institute of Legal, Political and Sociological Researches Chișinau, Moldova, has spent one week, from the 25th of September 2022 until the 3rd of October 2022 on a short-term scientific mission at Apollonia University in Iași, Romania, researching intergovernmental cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania in managing the flow of Ukrainian migrants. JUDr. Jiří Valdhans, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Law in Brno, Czechia, has spent two weeks, from the 1st until the 15th of October 2022 on a short-term scientific mission at the Institute of Legal Sciences, Research and Development in the Field of Law in Maribor, Slovenia, researching legal challenges of intergovernmental coordination. Dr. Valentyna Romanova

Dr. Valentyna Romanova, from the National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy, has spent the first half of October 2022 on a virtual mobility grant to research the dynamics of intergovernmental coordination in Ukraine. Valentyna understands coordination as a process comprising information, communication, and negotiation. Alessia Setti

Alessia Setti, PhD student at the University of Lausanne, has spent the entire month of July 2022 at the Institute of Comparative Federalism of EURAC in Bolzano/Bozen, Italy. Her research deals with European integration processes in cross-border regions, a crucial but largely neglected area from multiple perspectives. Olga Lvova

Mrs Olga Lvova, Founder, CEO, think twice UA, Think Tanks Development and Research Initiative “think twice UA”, came from Kyiv to Maribor, under an STSM granted by IGCOORD, with her 9 years old daughter following Ukraine’s attack by Russia. She has now applied for temporary Slovenia with the Republic of Slovenia. Her research »Intergovernmental cooperation from local to European governance: the role of think tanks« was carried out at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor.

Prof. Borut Vojinović

Prof. Borut Vojinović from the EIPF, Institute of Economics in Ljubljana, Slovenia, has completed his STSM hosted by the Educons University – Faculty of Business Economics in Serbia. His research, entitled ‘Fiscal policy, factors of endogenous growth and dynamics of exports, intergovernmental coordination’ was conducted over a period of 30 days.
